QsaveR ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application QsaveR (the "App").
Information We Collect
Personal Information
- Account Information: Email address, username, and subscription status
- Business Information: Business name, address, phone number, website, and category (for business accounts)
- Payment Information: Processed securely through Apple App Store - we do not store payment details
Home Town
- What we store: When you set up QsaveR, you choose a home town from a list we provide. We store which town you selected — nothing more precise than that.
- What we use it for: We use the published center point of that town to work out which nearby deals and flash message offers are close enough to be worth sending you. This lets us send you relevant notifications without tracking your device.
- What we do NOT store: We do not store your device's position for this, we do not track where you go, and we keep no history of your movements.
- User Control: You can change or remove your home town at any time in the app's Settings.
Location Information
- Precise Location: We collect your precise location when you use the app to find nearby businesses and validate coupon redemptions
- Proximity Alerts: If you enable proximity alerts, we let you know when you are near a participating business. When such an alert is triggered, we record your location at that moment, the business involved, and the distance — so that we do not alert you about the same business repeatedly. We do not otherwise track or keep a history of where you go.
- User Control: You can disable location services through your device settings
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide Services: Enable core app functionality including business discovery and coupon redemption
- Location Services: Find nearby businesses and validate that you're within the required proximity for coupon redemption
- Business Operations: Allow businesses to manage their profiles, coupons, and customer analytics
- Account Management: Process subscriptions and manage user accounts
- Communication: Send important app notifications and updates
Information Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:
- Business Directory: Business names, addresses, and public information are displayed to help users find local businesses
- Service Providers: With trusted third-party service providers who assist in app operations
- Legal Requirements: When required by law, regulation, or legal process
Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your information:
- Secure server infrastructure with encryption
- Regular security assessments and updates
- Access controls limiting data access to authorized personnel

Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide our services:
- Account information: Until account deletion
- Home town: The town you selected, retained until you change it or delete your account
- Location data: Used in real time for proximity validation and not retained, except that a triggered proximity alert records the location, business, and distance at that moment (see Proximity Alerts above)
- Business information: Retained while business account is active
Children's Privacy
QsaveR is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
